Infinity Sims

Privacy policy

Last updated October 19, 2026.

Infinity Sims is a free gear planner and combat sim for World of Warcraft: Forever. You don't need an account, and we don't ask for your name or email.

What stays in your browser

Your plans, sim settings, sim history, saved talent builds and the items you imported are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you share a link. A share link carries the plan itself in the address.

What we collect

  • Page views, counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites.
  • Talent build counts: when you finish, open, save or share a full talent build, we count the class and talent string so the planner can show popular builds. Nothing about you is attached. You can turn this off on the Talents tab.
  • Items found by the addon: if you import an export from our addon and leave "Share what your addon found" ticked, we receive the game's description of gear the site doesn't have yet (and where it dropped, if you turned that on in game), with a random id the addon made for your install. No character, account, guild or realm.
  • Server logs: our hosting (Cloudflare) and database (Supabase) providers keep short-lived technical logs, which can include IP addresses, to run and protect the service.

Advertising and cookies

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time with "Privacy choices" in the footer. You can also manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your rights

Because we don't hold accounts or personal profiles, there is usually nothing we can tie to you. If you have a question or a request, including under the GDPR or US state privacy laws, contact us at hello@infinitysims.org.

Children

The site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
